The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) is seeking a contractor for comprehensive electrical maintenance and engineering services supporting research and development operations. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Aerospace Systems Directorate (RQ), Integration and Operations Division (RQO), Research Operations Support Branch (RQOO), Office: AFRL/PZLEB - Services Requested: - NETA-certified electrical equipment operation, maintenance, testing, repair, installation, and engineering services for low and medium voltage systems - Preventive maintenance, acceptance testing, electrical engineering, drafting, and acquisition support - Management of government-furnished property and electrical systems data - Quality control, safety, and security plan development and implementation - Provision of qualified personnel: Program Manager, Electrical Engineers, Foremen, Journeyman Electricians, CAD technicians (with required certifications and security clearances) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Prime contractor must be a NETA (International Electrical Testing Association) Accredited Company - Contractor must maintain core technical capabilities in-house and cannot subcontract all technical work - Adherence to government and industry standards for safety, quality, and risk management - Workload may vary due to dynamic R&D environment - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are identified in the requirements - All work to be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio

Description

 The contractor shall provide personnel, services, test equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, and subcontracting necessary to perform non-personal services for, engineering, acquisition, operation, maintenance, installation, removal, and repair of electrical equipment and systems supporting RQ. Due to the dynamic nature of research and development, the contract will experience variations in workload. All tasks shall be accomplished IAW generally accepted engineering standards and practices. All government material handling vehicles and equipment used to perform the tasks under this PWS shall be operated IAW Wright Patterson AFB policies and procedures.
