The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF), part of the U.S. Navy, is seeking information from industry for the rental of four forklifts to support shipyard operations at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) - Products/Services Requested: - Rental of four forklifts: - Three forklifts with 6,000 lbs capacity (diesel or propane, pneumatic tires) - One forklift with 14,000 lbs capacity (diesel or propane, pneumatic tires) - Services include: - Manufacturer-required maintenance and repairs - Unlimited hourly usage - Propane tanks (issued and returned full) - Rapid response to minor repairs (within 24 hours) - Replacement of inoperable forklifts within 24 hours - Pre-use inspections and safety checks - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor personnel must be U.S. citizens and pass background checks - No government-furnished equipment; contractor may use utilities but is responsible for damages - No specific OEMs or forklift models are named in the solicitation - Place of Performance: - Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii (Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF)

This is a Sources Sought Notice for information only: This is not a request for quotes/proposals or an invitation for bids.

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to seek eligible contractors to provide seeks the rental of four long tine forklifts to assist in operations within the shipyard for up to one full year and one option of six months.

The Contractor shall provide Manufacturer required maintenance and repairs on all rental forklifts, Unlimited hourly usage, Propane tanks as required (Issued with a full tank and returned with a full tank), Response to minor repairs (e.g. flat tires) within 24 hrs. notice, Replacement of inoperable forklifts within 24 hrs. of notice in accordance with this PWS.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 532289 – All other consumer goods rental; size standard for this NAICS is $12,500,000.00. Product Service Code is W039 – Lease or Rental of Equipment – Materials Handling Equipment.

The anticipated period of performance for the base year is April 20, 2026 to April 19, 2027.

This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
