The Department of Homeland Security {DHS}, United States Coast Guard {USCG} Surface Forces Logistics Center {SFLC}, located at 1 Eagle Road Bldg. 55, Alameda CA 94501 is issuing this Notice of Intent {NOI} to inform industry contractors of the Government's intent to Award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price {FFP} Contract IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation {FAR} Part 12 and 13 procedures.

USCG SFLC requires: USCG SFLC LRE BALTIMORE, auxiliary saltwater system (ASW) part request.

STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

FOR

Auxiliary Saltwater System (ASW) Modify

WMSL Auxiliary Saltwater System (ASW) has noticed some issues over the years. In certain areas we should install duplex strainers, backpressure regulators, improve the AC condensers, isolate coolers, and upgrade valves.

OBJECTIVE

Steering Gear Cooler Modify has removed the Hays Mesurflow device from the ASW piping supplying. And now install a mechanical globe valve “Cal-Val 50-20” which regulates ASW flow to the coolers.
