The City of Rome, Georgia, is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms to perform a comprehensive Wastewater Collection System Capacity Assessment as Phase 1 of the City's Wastewater Master Plan Update. The assessment aims to support near-term development review and long-term capital planning by providing an accurate, data-driven understanding of the existing wastewater system capacity. The system includes a service area of approximately 155 square miles, nearly 20,000 sewer customers, 47 lift stations (including 39 SCADA-connected stations), and approximately 450 miles of gravity sewer mains. Proposals are due by April 23, 2026, and questions must be submitted by April 9, 2026.
