Description
The County of Volusia is seeking proposals for benefit administrative services for its employees, retirees, and COBRA participants. The services to be provided include third-party administration of Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), COBRA administration and compliance, and retiree billing and premium collection. The contract will have an initial one-year term with possible renewal, and evaluation criteria include experience, cost, methodology, and past performance. The County currently contracts with Chard Snyder and uses providers such as Cigna, Aetna, and United Healthcare for health plans.
