Description
The City of Rochester is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to support a citywide Records Management Modernization and Eventual Digitization Initiative. The project aims to establish a standardized, compliant, and sustainable records management framework aligned with the New York State Archives Local Government Records Retention Schedule (LGS-1) and best practices in public sector records governance. The initiative will begin with the Department of Human Resource Management and Municipal Archives, focusing on indexing, archiving, and destroying records past their retention. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. on March 30, 2026, with the agreement expected to start in April 2026.
