Description
The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), in cooperation with the Central Platte Natural Resources District, is rescinding the Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Wood River Watershed project in Nebraska. The project was terminated because the proposed watershed plan exceeded the statutory drainage area limit of 250,000 acres, and no feasible alternatives were identified. Consequently, an EIS is no longer necessary for this project.
