Description
The United States Postal Service is proposing to amend its Domestic Mail Manual to revise the application of the overweight and oversize fee. The proposal clarifies that except for items discovered during a retail transaction and returned to the mailer, all other paid overweight or oversize items found in the postal network will be assessed a $200 fee before release.
