The work includes, but is not limited to the replacement of the rooftop cooling towers at B1320. The project includes the removal of the existing rooftop cooling towers and replacement of new towers adjacent to the existing. The project is required to be phased as the existing cooling towers serve critical laboratories that cannot be taken offline for extended periods of time. The contractor must adhere to the phasing and sequencing requirements identified in the drawings and specifications. The project includes structural suports for the new cooling towers, modification of electrical distribution system to power new chillers, and ancillary pump and piping modificaitons for a complete system.
