The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking a contractor to provide, install, and manage an Entertainment and Information System across DMV District Offices and Traffic Violations Bureau offices statewide. - Government Buyer: - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Contracts Division, Procurement Services - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs are named; the opportunity is open to all qualified vendors with experience in out-of-home media networks - Prior similar contract referenced: RNS Communications, Inc. d/b/a Motor Vehicle Network - Products/Services Requested: - Commercial-grade flat screen HDTVs (minimum 42"), 2–8 per District Office, 3 per Traffic Violations Bureau office - Video walls (rectangles of TVs acting as one screen) for designated locations - Touch screen monitors (minimum 36"), 1–3 per DMV office - All required network and electrical infrastructure (cabling, installation, etc.) - Content management system to display DMV information, public service messages, announcements, queuing information, and TVB docket information - Content development and management (excluding DMV-provided content), including news, weather, trivia, and sponsor messages - System integration with DMV reservation and queuing systems - Ongoing maintenance, support (99% uptime during business hours), and training for DMV staff - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide all products and services at no cost to DMV; revenue may be generated through advertising - Strict content ratios and DMV approval required for all displayed material - Contractor must have at least two years of experience operating multi-location media networks - Installation, maintenance, and deinstallation must minimize disruption to DMV operations and be performed outside regular business hours - System must be flexible to accommodate office changes, renovations, and removals - Compliance with New York State laws and detailed technical standards is mandatory - Period of Performance: - Five-year contract term, with installation to be completed by a DMV-specified date and continuous support required throughout the period - Locations: - All New York State DMV District Offices and Traffic Violations Bureau offices statewide - Contracting office: 6 Empire State Plaza, Room 224, Albany, NY 12228
