Description
The City of Airdrie is seeking a consultant to develop a heritage management framework and strategy that provides a foundation for heritage-related work. The scope includes identifying best practices for heritage policies and procedures in mid-sized municipalities, engaging internal City departments and external community stakeholders, and making recommendations on strategies, guidelines, and processes for heritage designation and preservation for both City-owned and privately-owned assets. All recommendations should align with Provincial and Federal Heritage practices. The contract duration is approximately 6 months, starting in mid-May 2026.
