Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested, a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 1240LP26Q0037 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for for Farrier Services for the Big Horn National Forest. The project objective is to contract farrier work for the Bighorn National Forest (BNF) horse herd of approximately 20 or more horses and may be required to handle groups of 5-7 horses without help from FS staff. The contractor is required to provide farrier services as needed at the ranger stations across the Forest during summer months and at the Sheridan Work Center during the rest of the year. Workmanship guarantees and minimum days to schedule are in line with commercial practices
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 115210 The small business size standard is $11 Million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
