This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6-Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. In accordance with FAR 5.203(b) this combined synopsis and solicitation will be posted for less than fifteen (15) days.

This requirement is being solicited on a 100% small business set aside basis as concurred with by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290: Other Building Equipment Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard is $22.5M.

NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Rigging and Installation Services. Contractor shall provide necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to un-crate, safely lift, move, locate, and assemble one (1) Government-furnished table with legs from the hallway of Building 1170 into a dedicated space in Room 141. Double door dimensions are 83” height x 67” wide (70” wide with door off hinges). Optical Table and vibration isolating legs weigh approximately 1,510 lbs (1800 in crate).
