The Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive pest control services at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport (MARS) facilities on Wallops Island and Temperanceville, Virginia. - Government Buyer: - Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority (state agency) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products and Services Requested: - Comprehensive pest control services, including: - Inspection, treatment, and elimination of pests (mosquitos, ticks, rodents, rats, mice, cockroaches, ants, moths, crickets, spiders, bees, flies, silverfish) - Optional termite control and stinging insect treatment (as requested) - Provision of all tools, labor, materials, insecticides, pesticides, bait boxes, trapping devices, pest surveillance and detection equipment, pest monitoring devices, and necessary supervision - All chemicals and equipment required for pest control - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations - Mandatory pre-bid conference or site visit is required - Services must include pest monitoring and reporting - Licensing and supervision are required for all pest control activities - Place of Performance: - Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport (MARS) facilities, Wallops Island and Temperanceville, Virginia
Description
The Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority is seeking proposals to establish a contract for comprehensive pest control services at its Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport facilities located on Wallops Island and Temperanceville, Virginia. The contractor will provide all necessary tools, labor, materials, insecticides, pesticides, bait boxes, trapping devices, and pest monitoring equipment. Services include inspection, treatment, and elimination of various pests such as mosquitos, ticks, rodents, and other insects, with optional termite and stinging insect treatments on an as-requested basis. All work must comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
