Aéroport de Québec inc. is seeking contractors for a major construction project at Quebec City Jean-Lesage Airport to support future passenger growth. - Scope of Work: - Reconstruction of post 29 and redevelopment of domestic flight arrivals (Lot 3) - Earthworks, installation of underground water and stormwater networks - Pavement structure, bituminous overlays, concrete slabs, and safety elements - Installation of lighting towers and electrical work - Partial construction of a new unloading room with architectural, structural, mechanical (plumbing), and electrical components - Structural works: crack injection, concrete repair, demolition, foundation construction, excavation, reinforcement, formwork, concreting, backfilling, drain replacement, waterproofing, sandblasting - Mechanical/plumbing: installation of sanitary and stormwater networks under slabs - Electrical: installation of a lightning rod - Location: - Work will be performed on the aircraft side of Quebec City Jean-Lesage Airport - Airport escorts required for construction vehicles - Project Purpose: - Designed to accommodate anticipated passenger growth to 2.4 million by 2030 - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Unique Requirements: - Construction in secure, operational airport environment - Coordination with airport operations and safety protocols
Description
