Beaufort County is soliciting sealed bids from qualified, licensed contractors for the installation of a standby generator system at the Beaufort County Department of Social Services located at 632 West 5th Street, Washington, NC. The scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and coordination necessary to provide a complete and operational standby generator system, including generator, automatic transfer switch, concrete pad, conduit, grounding, control wiring, utility coordination, startup, testing, and commissioning. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walkthrough will be held on March 27, 2026. Proposals must be submitted in sealed hard-copy format by April 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
