Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide the service described in the Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS). Potential offerors are invited to provide information via e-mail to natalie.acevedo@va.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition according to Performance Work Statement (PWS). Potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following information to natalie.acevedo@va.gov: 1) Name, address, point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address. 2) Brief capability statement with enough information to determine if the company can meet the requirement. The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Request for Quote (RFQ) nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach but rather provide a short statement regarding the company's ability to provide the services as detailed in the Statement of Work. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities statement. 3) Statement attesting, they are properly certified in accordance with the SOW/PWS. The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for this requirement. The Government must ensure there is an adequate competition among the potential pool of available contractors using SBA website. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. This synopsis is not a solicitation announcement for Request for Quote (RFQ). No formal solicitation document exists at this time, and no contract will be awarded from this announcement.

Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Interested contractors should respond via email by 9:00 AM (EST) on March 30, 2026.

STATEMENT OF WORK SUMMARY: SOW: Contractor is to meet with chemical Contractor and on-site personnel on a monthly basis. Review all water treatment reports and correspondence as they are submitted. Prepare program logs. Prepare a monthly treatment program review. Perform additional chemical testing as needed. Inspect water treatment equipment. Assist with the annual review and goal setting. Discuss water related problems and questions as needed and make recommendations to correct deficiencies.

Qualifications for Contractor representative: BS Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Minimum of ten years water treatment consulting experience is preferred Minimum of five years consulting for VA Medical Centers is preferred Frequency: Monthly. Invoices are billed monthly. Reports: Service reports must be signed by both service provider and COR at completion of work. An electronic version of same shall be sent to the COR.
