Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
The 9th Contracting Squadron, Beale AFB, CA, is seeking capabilities from businesses classified as Small, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition for a contract to provide preventative maintenance and load bank testing for Cummins generators. Please note that this Sources Sought does not in any way obligate the Government to award a subsequent Contract.
This Sources Sought is for market research and planning purposes to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive. The requirement is for preventative maintenance and load bank testing for Cummins generators at Beale AFB, CA. The Contractor shall be required to perform preventative maintenance on three (3) Cummins generators, conduct diagnostic load bank testing, and provide a detailed report of any identified faults, deficiencies, or potential issues. Any suggestions or questions are welcomed; these will be used to improve the requirement documents. These may not receive an answer or might be answered at the time of solicitation. A total period of performance has not been determined yet. This requirement is expected to be awarded as a Firm-Fixed-Price contract.
