The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking contractors to remove and replace two large outlet valves at Bradbury Dam, with the goal of improving water release efficiency and dam operations. - Government Buyer: - Bureau of Reclamation, California-Great Basin Regional Office, South-Central California Area Office - Products and Equipment Requested: - Two 24-inch fixed-cone valves (to replace existing 30-inch valves) - Two 30-inch butterfly valves - Valve supports, anchors, and 30-to-24-inch reducers - Temporary bypass pump system (adjustable flow rate 9-11 cfs) - Two new electrical panels (one inside, one outside) - Electrical equipment and materials (conductors, cables, conduit, grounding, panelboards) - Metal fabrications, nonshrink grout, and coatings for valves and supports - Services Requested: - Electrical system inspection, design (signed by U.S. registered Electrical Engineer), demolition, and installation - Removal of existing fixed-cone valves and peripheral equipment - Design and installation of new valve supports (stamped by California-registered PE) - Operation and maintenance of temporary bypass pump system - Training for government staff on valve operation and maintenance - Weekly coordination meetings and contract document management - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with detailed safety, environmental, and quality assurance standards - Temporary water bypass system must be provided and maintained during outage - All engineering designs must be signed/stamped by licensed professionals - 100% performance and payment bonds required - Estimated contract value between $1M and $5M - No specific OEMs or brands are named in the solicitation; technical specifications are referenced in attachments. - Place of Performance: - Bradbury Dam Outlet Works, Cachuma Project, near Santa Barbara, CA - Contracting offices in Sacramento, Fresno, and Willows, CA
