Description

NOTICE OF DECISION TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, intends to award to a single source contract to FultonSt1 LLC, dba Dancker, for the procurement, delivery and installation of office furniture to support the FAA Great Lakes Regional Office (AGL RO) relocation from 2300 East Devon Avenue, Des Plaines, IL 60018 to 9600 West Bryn Mawr Avenue, Rosemont, IL 60018.

The FAA has committed to the General Services Administration (GSA) and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to vacating the current building by October 2026, and has an urgent need that requires the immediate procurement of furniture. The current Occupancy Agreement (OA) with GSA expires on October 20, 2026. The move is part of a strategic plan to optimize operations and reduce the overall Department of Transportation (DOT) footprint for the AGL RO, in compliance with the FAA Space Order. FultonSt1 LLC, dba Dancker is familiar with the layout of the building and can complete the furniture layout and the furniture installation plans in time to meet the accelerated installation schedule. Failure to procure and install this furniture to meet the FAA-established October 2026 deadline to vacate the existing building will result in significant operational disruptions and financial implications.

Purpose of the Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA’s decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures.
