The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is extending its IPF Staff Support contract for three months to ensure continuity of critical IT, Foundation GEOINT (FG) subject matter expertise, and program management services while the follow-on Mapping, Charting & Geodesy (MC&G) Staff Support contract is competitively awarded. - Extension covers: - 2 required FG Chief of Staff Support positions - 5 optional positions: Cloud SME, FG SME #2, FG System Transition & Integration Specialist, Cost Estimator, FG3D SME - Original task order was awarded to Compass, Inc.; extension is under FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(A) - No new proposals are being solicited; this is a limited-sources justification - Extension prevents service disruption during the contract transition - Primary locations: NGA Springfield, VA and Saint Louis, MO
Description
Under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(A), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has issued a Limited-Sources Justification (LSJ) for the IPF Staff Support extention effort, to extend the current contract for 3 months (Period of Performance ends 22 March 2026). The IPF Staff Support task order provides Information Technology (IT), Foundation GEOINT (FG) Subject Matter Expert (SME), and program management support to the office formerly known as the NGA Foundation GEOINT Integrated Program Office (IPF). This extension action is necessary to complete the ongoing recompete of the staff support requirement as a follow-on contract known as Mapping, Charting & Geodesy (MC&G) Staff Support. This notice is made IAW FAR 8.405-6(a)(2)(i) and is not a request for proposals.
