This opportunity seeks contractor support for the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of the Aircraft Fire Rescue Training Facility (AFTF) at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force, Air Force District of Washington, 316th Contracting Squadron (FA2860 316 CONS PK) - Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) at Joint Base Andrews - Products and Services Requested: - Semiannual inspections, quarterly safety inspections, and maintenance of the Aircraft Fire Rescue Training Facility - Replacement of 18 igniters located in the burner area and on the mock-up - Replacement of cutout panels (36" x 85.5", .036" sheet metal) as needed - Water pump removal and replacement per manufacturer's instructions - Maintenance and repair of 80-mil HDPE liners in water conservation pond, burn area, and trench - Maintenance and repair of a 10,000-gallon propane storage tank - Regulator adjustments and propane supply maintenance - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Air Force Technical Orders, NFPA standards, and all applicable environmental regulations - Detailed environmental protection standards, including hazardous materials management, air quality permits, storm water management, and recycling - Quality control and reporting requirements - Vendors must submit a capabilities statement (max 10 pages) and respond to questions about the draft PWS - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the documents - Period of Performance: - Initial contract period is one year with option years available

Sources Sought: 316th CES Aircraft Fire Rescue Training Facility
Scope: The 316th CES on JB Andrews has a recurring need for Aircraft Fire Rescue Training Facility Inspection, Maintenance and Servicing, on Joint Base Andrews; services desired are contained in the attached Draft PWS

The Government is conducting market research for Aircraft Fire Rescue Training Facility Inspection, Maintenance and Servicing. The purpose of this RFI is to identify vendors capable of providing Aircraft Fire Rescue Training Facility Inspection, Maintenance, and Servicing that meets the Government’s requirements.
