Description
The West Los Angeles VA Medical Center was seeking a vendor that could provide services related to a Preventative Maintenance and Inspection (PMI) program for sterile storage cabinets used in clinical areas that have issues with temperature and humidity. The Contractor is to provide all necessary labor, materials, supplies, parts, software (needed for the general operation of the equipment), tools, equipment, travel, transportation expenses and other related costs to provide services related to a Preventative Maintenance and Inspection (PMI) program for sterile storage cabinets used in clinical areas that have issues with temperature and humidity. The Contractor is to perform work in strict accordance with the specifications, statement of work, and all VA local, federal, state, and applicable regulations. All parts will be Original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Contractor is responsible for all subcontractors required to complete reports. All proposals were to be sent to the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22 Contract Specialist, Jamie ElBedawi at Jamie.elbedawi@va.gov. Award was based upon a comparative evaluation of quotes in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR 13. Comparative evaluation is the side by side pairwise comparison of quotes based on factors resulting in a Contracting Officer decision for the quote most favorable to the Government.
