This opportunity seeks a contractor to deliver professional development training for the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) and problem gambling prevention workforce across New Hampshire. - Government Buyer: - New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division for Behavioral Health - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named; open to qualified training providers - Products/Services Requested: - Competency and skills-based professional development training program for AOD and problem gambling prevention workforce - Training topics: trauma-informed practices, risk mitigation, prevention, treatment, recovery supports, suicide prevention, stimulant use disorder, co-occurring mental health disorders, and other emerging issues - Minimum of 60 live trainings annually (in-person and virtual) - At least four trainings in northern New Hampshire - Three webinars and two learning module trainings per state fiscal year - Training materials and access to a library of at least 50 on-demand webinars - Continuing education hours and support for credentialing - Use of a Learning Management System (LMS) for program management - Annual workforce training needs surveys, marketing, evaluation, and scholarship administration - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Statewide training delivery, including rural/northern regions - Strict data privacy and security standards - Adherence to federal and state civil rights and privacy laws - Quality improvement processes and sustainability planning - IT infrastructure support for LMS and eLearning - Contract may be renewed for up to two additional years

Description

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division for Behavioral Health, is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide competency and skills-based professional development training for the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Continuum of Care and problem gambling prevention workforce. The training program aims to enhance statewide capacity in trauma-informed practices, risk mitigation, prevention, treatment, recovery supports, and emerging issues such as suicide prevention and stimulant use disorder. The contract includes providing a minimum of 60 live trainings annually, with in-person and virtual options, and requires the use of a learning management system to manage the training program. The Department anticipates awarding one contract with potential renewal options.
