07/15/2026 Planning Committee Meeting

The WUSD Board of Education Planning Committee met on July 15, 2026. The committee reviewed student and parent engagement survey results presented by School Perceptions, a survey partner. Student responses showed strong peer connections and generally positive school experiences, while academic engagement and classroom behaviors were areas of concern. Parent responses indicated generally positive views of school-level experiences, with lower ratings for district leadership and communication; the presenter noted improvement in several areas, including satisfaction with the district’s response to bullying. The committee discussed survey response rates and trends but took no procurement or spending action related to the survey or its provider.

The committee also coordinated scheduling for an August administrator and board gathering, assigned a board member to record a short video, and planned preparations for the August 28 board retreat. A possible Constitution Day discussion was identified for a future agenda, depending on the outcome of an Education Services Committee discussion. No contract awards, bids, budget allocations, or other procurement activity were identified.
