Tribal Epidemiology Centers

The Tribal Epidemiology Centers (TECs) provide epidemiologic and public health support to American Indian and Alaska Native communities, focusing on disease prevention, control, and health risk identification. Funded partly by the Indian Health Service, TECs serve 575 Tribes and 41 Urban Indian Organizations nationwide, tailoring public health services to regional needs.
