Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative

Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative is a nonprofit dedicated to restoring native Hawaiian forests by planting endemic trees, protecting endangered species, and sequestering carbon. Founded in 2014, HLRI has planted over 600,000 trees on the Big Island and Oʻahu, fostering sustainable ecosystems and community engagement.
