Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband initiative, formerly known as Project Kuiper. It is developing a constellation of more than 3,000 satellites, supported by ground infrastructure and customer antennas, to deliver fast, reliable internet to people and organizations beyond the reach of existing networks. Amazon says full-scale deployment began in 2025, with launches planned through multiple commercial providers.
