DCMA Appoints Craig Morgan Contracts Director
March 17, 2026
The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) has appointed Craig Morgan as the new executive director of its Contracts Directorate, effective March 22, 2026. In this role, Morgan will lead acquisition efforts, oversee contract administration policies, and contribute to federal and defense acquisition reform initiatives. His prior experience as DCMA’s Chief Data Analytics Officer (CDAO) and his background in naval and joint operations position him to align contract management with broader Department of War modernization and defense readiness goals.

- The appointment signals continued emphasis on integrating analytics and optimization in defense contracting processes, which may influence future solicitations and contract management practices.
