Arnold AFB Upgrades Phone System

Arnold Air Force Base completed a $2.38 million VoIP phone system modernization project in August 2025, replacing the legacy Nortel CS1000 with the Avaya Call Manager 10.2 platform. The Base Communications and Information Technology Services (BCITS) contractor, Abacus Technology Corporation, led the 25-month effort encompassing study, planning, engineering, and execution phases.
