USDA FAS Launches ESRQS System
March 13, 2026
The United States Department of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service (USDA FAS) will launch the new Export Sales Reporting and Query System (ESRQS) on March 26, 2026, replacing the existing Export Sales Reporting and Management System (ESRMS), which will shut down on March 23, 2026. Exporters are required to complete all data entry in the current ESRMS by March 23 and transition to using ESRQS for weekly export sales reporting starting March 26. USDA FAS is providing training and support resources to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system.
- Why this matters: Procurement professionals and contractors involved in agricultural export reporting must update their processes and systems to comply with the new ESRQS requirements.
- Exporters should ensure timely completion of data entry in the old system by March 23 to avoid reporting disruptions.
- Organizations supporting USDA FAS or exporters can leverage training opportunities to assist clients in adapting to the new platform.
- This system upgrade may impact data submission workflows and contract deliverables related to export sales reporting and compliance.
