The Advisory Committee on the Status of Women for the City of Worcester convened to discuss the committee's direction and impact. Challenges such as limited staffing for meeting minutes and the need for better engagement of younger women and diverse community members were addressed. The committee emphasized the importance of leveraging research data to identify barriers women face in Worcester, particularly in workforce representation and public safety roles, aiming to inform actionable recommendations to city leadership.
