State & Local Meeting
Meausure O 1 22 26 Item D2
January 14, 2026
The City of Oxnard provided an annual update on the status and accomplishments of projects funded by Measure O. The report covered three types of projects: one-time funded street resurfacing, ongoing operational projects such as the Police Activities League, and ongoing debt service projects related to prior bond-funded initiatives. Key highlights included progress on the Lalonia Boxing Gym rehabilitation, scheduled for design completion in 2026 and construction in 2027, and the Mandalay Bay Seawall repair project set to begin construction in February 2026. The City Corps program continued its cleanup and restoration efforts, removing significant waste and invasive species, while tenant protection programs saw increased engagement. Additionally, several projects were completed under budget, with funds returned to Measure O, and some operational costs were transitioned to the general fund to optimize funding allocation. The presentation concluded with an invitation for further discussion at the upcoming January 22nd meeting with project managers available to address questions.
