# NPSD School Board - Finance Committee Meeting 11-5-26

The North Penn School District Finance Committee met on November 5, 2026. Members approved the September 1 meeting minutes, the treasurer’s report and October budget transfers, a resolution not to exceed the 2027–28 Act 1 index, and an updated corporate authorization resolution. The finance lead reported revenues trending higher and expenses lower than in prior years. The proposed budget calendar and building-level supply allocations were presented for information; the finance lead proposed returning to per-pupil allocations with a 2% increase, while noting that school-level totals vary with enrollment. No budget or procurement action was taken on those informational items.

Cornerstone representatives reviewed their investment and cash-management advisory work, which began in July, including account consolidation, collateralization, current rates, and plans to report quarterly performance against leaving funds in the district’s main depository. District staff retain control over investment decisions; no new investment or contract award was approved at the meeting. During public comment, a resident criticized district spending and alleged a commitment to purchase a second Evolve system, but the committee took no action on that claim. No other procurement awards or bids were identified.
