# License Commission 11/05/2026

The Worcester License Commission met on November 5, 2026, to consider license applications and violation hearings. It approved one-day licenses for Ashland Brewing LLC’s Worcester Holiday Market service, the city’s Festival of Lights entertainment and beer garden, and the Worcester Historical Museum’s El Morocco event; the Holiday Market approval was conditioned on portable restrooms being available. The commission also approved operating-hours applications for Dragon Dynasty and Cicero’s Pizza, a manager change for the Worcester Detachment Marine Corps League, and an entertainment license for Eddie’s Pub and Sports Bar. No contracts, purchasing decisions, budget allocations, or other procurement activity were identified.

In violation hearings, the commission revoked Icy Gaming’s license after hearing reports of unlicensed alcohol and hookah activity, a locked exit, after-hours operation, and an occupancy count of 211 against a permitted 16; the owner was not present. For Hurricane Betty’s, the licensee stipulated to police observations of multiple rule violations following a fatal shooting outside the establishment, including late alcohol service, patrons leaving with drinks, security and entry-control failures, and failure to promptly notify police about the disturbance. The commission found the violations occurred and revoked both the alcohol and entertainment licenses, declining to stay the decision pending an appeal. The meeting focused on licensing and public safety, not procurement.
