# Conservation Commission - 11/04/2026

The Tewksbury Conservation Commission meeting on November 4, 2026, addressed conservation permits, compliance requests, emergency work, and enforcement matters. The commission approved certificates of compliance with invalid orders of conditions for two filings at 1600 Shawsheen Street, and a partial certificate of compliance for Heritage Builders at 90 Deborah Drive. It also approved Heritage Builders’ minor plan change at 283 Pleasant Street, involving an expanded driveway area and drainage measures reviewed by DPW. The commission ratified emergency certifications for sewer-line work at 60 Country Club Drive and beaver-management work at the Sutton Brook Superfund site; Beaver Solutions LLC plans to propose a more sustainable float-device approach in the spring. The Cambridge Isotope Laboratories plan-change request was continued to November 18, 2026.

For an enforcement matter at 53 Highland View Road, the commission voted to modify the enforcement order, lift the cease-and-desist status, and approve a restoration plan that includes soil restoration, reseeding, two years of monitoring and annual reports, and a 75% survival expectation for new plantings. The commission continued a determination request for 36 Shady Lane and a notice of intent and land-disturbance permit for 1777 Main Street to November 18; for the latter, members supported the stormwater-management concept in principle, subject to final design and peer review. The commission also agreed to begin enforcement steps concerning alleged unauthorized use and clearing of commission-owned open space. No procurement activity, contract awards, or purchasing decisions were identified.
