# November 4, 2026 - Hamilton County Commission - Regular Meeting

Hamilton County Commission regular meeting, November 4, 2026. The Commission approved several purchasing and facilities items: Schrader Pro Services for ADA restroom renovations at Harrison Community Center, not to exceed $18,600; Dakin Applied, through the OMNIA Partners cooperative, for Cromwell Administration Building HVAC replacement, $192,542; TriMark USA, through Sourcewell, for a stationary kettle and related Sheriff’s Office kitchen equipment, $54,056.99; and Vertosoft for a five-year OpenGov software subscription for Public Works, up to $1,204,268.94. The Commission also accepted a TDOT proposal for a state-route project. A proposed $26,690.88 allocation to the Chattanooga Convention Center for Seniors Night Out failed for lack of a motion. A rezoning petition for property in the 10,000 block of East Brainerd Road was deferred to the November 18 meeting after discussion of proposed use restrictions and a center-turn-lane condition; other rezoning petitions were approved.

The Commission approved or authorized multiple grants and service agreements, including a four-year, no-match Veterans Treatment Court grant of $984,370 (with a $165,000 FY2027 budget amendment); an application for up to $1.32 million for Juvenile Court; Sheriff’s Office grant budget amendments of $100,000 and $11,559, both with no local match; and several Health Department agreements and funding items, including contracts of up to $175,000 for Ryan White case management, $538,151 for public health services, and $409,400 for tuberculosis control, plus grant applications of up to $300,000 and $50,000. The library director also described services and a planned renovation of the downtown library’s local-history area, supported in part by a grant-funded digitization scanner. Public comments addressed data-center development and infrastructure costs, but no related Commission action was taken.
