# November 3, 2026 City Council Meeting

The November 3, 2026, Paso Robles City Council meeting included a Public Works capital-projects update. Staff reported progress on water-line and signal work, Commerce Way, and westside street repairs, and described a completed pedestrian-safety project funded through the Local Safety Roadway Program. Riverside Avenue pavement-repair bids were due later that week; staff said a responsive, responsible bid could be brought to the next meeting for award, with paving targeted for completion before the 2027 Mid-State Fair. Staff also presented a proposed city corporation yard on Union and Ardmore, consisting of three buildings. The council had previously authorized purchase of an asphalt hot-box machine, which crews used for street repairs. No new construction contract award was approved at this meeting.

The council unanimously approved the consent calendar, including a warrant register reporting $1.8 million in payments; the presentation identified a payment to Best in Creger and a $145,271.10 pass-through payment collected for Travel Paso. The council also unanimously adopted Ordinance 1175, completing a previously approved reduction in retirement-cost sharing for safety managers; this was an employment-benefit action, not a procurement decision. Other updates covered storm-season preparedness, emergency sand distribution, city park improvements funded and maintained by a donor through 2029, and a local homelessness-services organization’s report that it had helped house 322 people this year.
