# Plan Commission - Nov 04 2026

The City of Clinton, Iowa Plan Commission meeting on November 4, 2026, approved the September 2 meeting minutes and appointed Carolyn as secretary for the remainder of the year. The commission discussed two member resignations and vacancies. Members also discussed identifying representatives for the CIP committee; Rich Failen and Charlie Graph were to be forwarded as candidates, with selection and any required waiver to be handled by the advisory committee rather than by a commission vote.

The commission considered a request to vacate the street at 301 Fat Street. Staff said the request met City Code section 97.058, with easements to be maintained for existing utilities, including Alliant service and water and sewer lines. The commission voted to recommend approval of the vacation to the City Council. No contract awards, purchases, budget allocations, or other procurement activity were identified. The commission also received an update that the City Council had held a first reading on a zoning ordinance amendment related to a data center.
