# Watershed Management Advisory Committee -- 11.02.2026

The Town of Penfield Watershed Management Advisory Committee met on Nov. 2, 2026 (the meeting metadata lists Nov. 3). Members approved the September meeting minutes. The committee reviewed Willow Pond’s annual dam inspection and maintenance needs, including erosion and vegetation work and repair and relocation of a Greenlight conduit drilled through an existing outfall pipe. Staff also discussed investigating persistent sulfur odors and the possibility of pond treatments at Glen Brook, Harvest Walk, and Tollwood. Treatment estimates were provided by a vendor identified unclearly in the transcript as “ATIP”; the proposal must go to the Town Board for review and approval, followed by required DEC permits. No treatment award, dollar amount, or spending vote was reported.

Staff reported that storm- and sanitary-sewer mapping is ongoing under a DEC permit, supported in part by grant funding and continued Town Board funding, with no amount specified. The data is intended to support infrastructure capacity analysis and future maintenance planning. The stormwater coalition is working with LaBella Associates on employee training for outfall inspections, funded through the coalition; no contract award or cost was discussed. DPW pond and stream inspections and maintenance were also reviewed. No other procurement decisions or spending motions were identified.
