# Village Fest Board Meeting | October 27, 2026

The City of Palm Springs Village Fest Board meeting was held October 27, 2026. The board reviewed and approved the consent calendar, then considered applications from prospective VillageFest vendors. Applicants offering locally made candles, Korean-style corn dogs and Filipino desserts, art and prints, jewelry, arts education outreach, a men’s chorus, quilts, artwork, health-information books, screen prints, woodworking and glass art, olive oil and related products, and other goods were approved to participate. No government purchases, contract awards, or spending allocations were identified.

Several approvals were limited by the board’s handmade-product standards: Coastal Chi Designs could sell pieces with qualifying hand-drilled or otherwise handcrafted work, but not items that were only strung; House of Lady Chappelle was told to exclude unauthorized trademarked characters; Sync You Up added shirts to its approved offerings; and Woody Shimko’s approval was limited to Mahjong jewelry. The board postponed two new-business items until its next meeting due to time, including a vendor-data review. These vendor approvals affect participation opportunities at VillageFest but are not procurement contracts.
