# Apache Junction SVCFD 1 - 11/3/2026

The Superstition Vista Community Facilities District No. 1 special meeting and Apache Junction City Council meeting were held November 3, 2026. The district held hearings and unanimously approved resolutions for Assessment Area No. 9, covering 147 D.R. Horton-owned lots assessed at $5,000 per lot. The assessments will support special-assessment bonds to finance another segment of Peralta Drive public infrastructure, continuing a project partly funded by an earlier bond issuance. The council also unanimously approved a telecommunications right-of-way use agreement with Forged Fiber 37 LLC, adding a ninth internet provider to the city; the company said it had acquired roughly 6,000 local fiber locations from Lumen and plans to explore further expansion. The consent agenda, also approved unanimously, authorized the police chief to sign a subrecipient agreement with the Arizona Department of Homeland Security.

The council received an initial presentation on a proposed intergovernmental agreement with Pinal County for a future Superstition Basin community park, including a splash pad, trails, restrooms, and potential event overflow parking. No design or construction contract was approved; staff said funding would be pursued through development funds and grants, and the agreement is expected to return on a future consent agenda. The council also unanimously recommended two bingo-license applications for state approval. No other contract awards or purchasing decisions were identified.
