# Army Opens 2027 Multi-State Electronic Warfare Tests

The U.S. Army has announced three electronic-warfare testing events in 2027 for commercial developers of drones, counter-drone systems, long-range fires, and low-cost interceptors. The events are scheduled for February 1–5 at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah; June 14–18 at West Cibola Range, Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona; and September 20–24 at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Participation is a noncompetitive test opportunity—not a contract award or source selection—and companies do not need an existing federal contract to participate. Requests must be submitted through the Army Test Range Portal, with participation subject to range capacity.

- Companies developing relevant systems can request access to realistic electronic-warfare test environments without first holding a federal contract; participation does not itself create an award opportunity.
- Developers should match their test plans to one of the three scheduled locations and dates and submit requests through the Army Test Range Portal, recognizing that range capacity may limit participation.
- The events provide a chance to refine and assess systems against battlefield threats; contractors can use test results to inform product development and future government customer discussions.
