# U.S. Air Force Seeks ERAM Producers

The U.S. Air Force issued a request for information seeking industry capacity to mass-produce more than 1,000 Extended Range Attack Munition (ERAM) air-launched cruise missiles for Ukraine. The RFI is an early stage of manufacturer selection, not a contract award. Responses are due **November 19, 2026 (15 days from November 4)**. The contemplated schedule requires initial deliveries within three months of award and completion within 15 months; reported performance requirements include a range exceeding 250 nautical miles, speed above Mach 0.6, precision in electronic-warfare or degraded-GPS conditions, and an approximately 500-pound weapon.

- Companies should review the RFI on SAM.gov and assess whether their production capacity and technical capabilities meet the stated performance and accelerated delivery schedule before submitting a response.
- The short post-award timeline makes demonstrated manufacturing throughput and ability to begin deliveries quickly central considerations for prospective producers and their supply chains.
- Zone 5 Technologies and CoAspire received earlier ERAM prototype-development awards; those awards do not establish that either firm has been selected for the production opportunity.
