# Commissioners Meeting 11/2/2026

The Kosciusko County Commissioners meeting on November 2, 2026, included several procurement and funding actions. Commissioners approved an amendment to the county’s dedicated-services agreement with Etna Green, increasing the hourly rate from $40 to $50 and authorizing the sheriff to sign. They also approved rejecting a single bid from Milestone Construction for a highway project because the project scope is being expanded, and authorized readvertising it. A separate set of highway bids for materials and services—including aggregate, asphalt, fuel, bridge components, culverts, and dust control—was taken under advisement for staff review and consideration at the next meeting; no awards were made. Bids included Petroleum Traders Corporation’s diesel price of $5.14 per gallon and Brooks Construction’s HMA bid of $140 per ton.

The commissioners approved applying for a reimbursable courtroom reform grant of up to $40,000. They also approved five Health First-funded initiatives, including items described as $15,000 for Healthy Communities Coalition and $95,000 each for Live Well and school health services through Warsaw Community Schools, and approved a letter supporting future Health First funding. Parks representatives reported that they were not seeking county approval for an INDOT grant at this time because the required 80/20 match would entail approximately $1.2–$1.4 million in county funding and there was insufficient time to raise the match. The county also reported that major physical repairs to the Justice Building are expected to begin in spring 2027, with preparatory work continuing beforehand.
