The City of San Luis Regular Council Meeting on October 28, 2026, approved several procurement and spending items. The Council awarded Company 1582 LLC up to $58,845 for annual fire-department physicals; renewed ZOLL Medical Corporation’s equipment maintenance and extended-warranty contract for the corrected amount of $45,733.50; and approved up to $102,937.58 for SCBA regulators and air packs from Municipal Emergency Services Inc. It awarded TF Contracting Services LLC the Well Site 6 booster-pump station expansion contract for $3,865,202.44 and NewWave Innovations the Well Site 3 electrical-upgrade contract for $620,215. It adopted a notice of intent to establish revised business-incubator rates and new fees, including per-square-foot rents of $0.55, $0.65, and $0.80 for years one through three, with an additional-year option subject to approval. Other actions included appointing and reappointing members to the Economic Development Commission and adopting an animal-control ordinance expanding enforcement authority. The economic-development presentation discussed regional job creation, grants, and prospective investment, including a $1 million EDA grant for a San Luis waterline project and approximately $500,000 previously secured for infrastructure at the industrial park; no new grant awards were approved during the presentation.
