# ANSI Seeks Supply Chain Standards Input

ANSI is seeking input from U.S. stakeholders on an exploratory, cross-sector initiative to coordinate technology-agnostic supply chain standards. The initiative’s scope and discussion areas are not finalized, and ANSI has announced no solicitation, contract, or funding opportunity. For procurement professionals and contractors, this is an opportunity to describe standards gaps and operational needs involving traceability, trusted data exchange, cybersecurity, resilience, and responsible sourcing.

- Contractors and procurement teams working in these areas can share practical requirements and identify where standards coordination could support supply chain processes.
- Companies should treat the engagement as standards-development input, not as a current procurement opportunity or a mandatory compliance requirement.
- Questions about the initiative can be directed to ANSI’s Christine DeJong Bernat at cbernat@ansi.org or 212.642.8919, or Diane Lake at dlake@ansi.org or 215.622.0614.
