# FERC Holds Texas-Louisiana Pipeline Scoping Sessions

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is holding four in-person public scoping sessions from October 26–29, 2026, in Texas and Louisiana, to gather input for the environmental impact statement on Gulf South Pipeline Company’s Texas Gateway Project (Docket No. CP26-547-000). These are environmental-review meetings, not a solicitation. Pipeline developers, environmental-services firms, and land-access contractors can use the sessions to understand the review process and submit project-related comments by November 12, 2026, which is 15 days away as of October 28.

- The sessions are at venues in Cleveland, San Augustine, and Jasper, Texas, and Ragley, Louisiana; the project involves proposed pipeline facilities subject to FERC review.
- Companies with relevant project or environmental expertise may provide input through the public comment process; participation does not represent a contract opportunity or guarantee procurement activity.
- Submit comments by November 12, 2026. FERC’s Office of Public Participation can be reached at OPP@ferc.gov or 202-502-6595; FERC Online Support is available at FercOnlineSupport@ferc.gov or 866-208-3676.
