# 2026-10-27 Village of Villa Park Villa Fest Subcommittee Meeting

The Village of Villa Park Villa Fest Subcommittee met on October 27, 2026, to review the first Villa Fest and discuss planning and budget needs for 2027. Members approved the August 27, 2026 meeting minutes without alteration; approval of the August 20 minutes was deferred because they were unavailable. The event drew an estimated more than 2,000 attendees, with about 30 craft vendors and eight food vendors. Alcohol sales were reported as $11,928. The committee was asked to submit a formal budget proposal as soon as possible, ideally for the November 9 budget discussion. For the December 2 town hall, each commission has a $200 allowance for giveaway items; 150 koozies at an estimated $0.64 each ($96) were discussed as an option, but no purchase was approved.
