# DoD Selects Poland for PAC-3 Maintenance Hub

The U.S. Department of Defense selected Poland to host a regional maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility for PAC-3 interceptors used in Patriot air-defense systems. The centre is estimated at €227 million; negotiations with Lockheed Martin remain pending, and Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden are expected to support supply-chain integration. No solicitation, contractor award, or detailed schedule has been announced, and Polish officials said it will take at least several months for the centre to become operational.

- The selection establishes a potential European sustainment and component-supply opportunity, but the estimate is not a confirmed contract award or a stated value for a specific procurement.
- Lockheed Martin is involved in negotiations, not identified as an awarded contractor. Companies should distinguish this facility announcement from a released solicitation or confirmed subcontracting opportunity.
- Suppliers and maintenance providers may find potential work in PAC-3 servicing and allied supply-chain integration as plans advance; the signals do not identify specific requirements or a bidding timeline.
